We take a look at the first people to arrive at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City...
...and we find some impressive costumers in the hotel's hall, long before things get into full swing.
As night fell, Otakon's costumers turned out in force - and the digital camera was ready to capture their images.
There were so many Otakon cosplayers on Friday night that we had to use two pages to display their pictures.
Some people love anime and manga characters so much that they want to extend those characters through stories they write. We sat in on a fan fiction panel.
Others help create those characters through the translations of the original manga. They say that literal translations don't always get the point across.
Mixx Entertainment has some big plans. They'll separate their two biggest manga titles to eliminate complaints and increase sales.
