AWA Day 2 - Nov. 15, 1997

This was the day the convention moved into full swing, with the artwork panels, a dance and the big costume contest.
Rendering two dimensions into three, and in miniature - the challenge of the anime model builder. Anime and manga experts settled the hot issues of the day in AWA's Saturday panels.
Don't criticize it if you haven't tried it: AWA attendees learned how to create the paintings on plastic that bring anime to life. Japanese anime fans raised costume play to an art form, and AWA fans do their best to match those efforts at the costume contest.
