Jeff Thompson of the Iowa-based anime company The Right Stuff was spotted hanging out with costumer Kayt Robarts - after an unsuccessful attempt to hide from the author's camera.
Robert Fenelon loves the "old" anime series like Space Cruiser Yamato. He came to Otakon to celebrate the anniversary of the show known in the U.S. as Star Blazers.

Everpresent Matt Greenfield of ADV Films was on hand to answer fans' questions about DVD releases (more are on the way) and to announce a few new series.
Shin Kurokawa, who has handled dozens of translations for Animeigo, made his first convention appearance since Animazement in March.

Amy Howard continued her Star Blazers nostalgia tour with an Otakon appearance in the company of her beau.
Over in the artists' alley. John Staton started drawing early in the afternoon and never let up.
