 The mundane world hung around for most of Friday at the hotel, with a certain telecommunications company taking up the main level. They brought hundreds of box lunches that hotel staff guarded against anime fans. |

 These fans had the privilege of being first in line for the dealers' room. That line grew so quickly that the convention staff had to move it one floor downstairs. |
 Moving into that room to get set up were artists Tavisha and Rikki Simons, with Pat Duke of Radio Comix also in the vicinity. |
