featuring their animated roles. |
Hiroyuki Kitakubo is becoming a regular visitor to American anima conventions,
having attended Anime Expo in 1998 and Otakon in 1999. The director of

Kia Asamiya is camera-shy, but he's amazingly productive for his Studio
Tron. He created Compiler, Silent Moebius, Steam Detectives, Dark Angel
and even a manga version of Star Wars - Episode One. Asamiya was constantly
surrounded during the reception... |
...but the most popular person was Yuu Watase of Fushigi Yuugi fame,
who drew the biggest cheers when the guests were introduced before the
reception. Watase's fans presented her with this homemade stuffed Doraemon
at the event. |
