Pat Duke (left) and Matthew High brought Radio Comix to Virginia (minus
Elin Winkler, the other person in charge of the Texas company) Duke said
he was amazed that Richard Kim traveled to Texas to convince him to attend
Katsucon. |

Robert DeJesus was on hand with his fiancee, who had an arm in a sling.
Katsucon's staff had worked hard to make sure that Emily Brown's problem
was properly treated. |

"I'm Japanese," said Shin Kurokawa (left) of AnimEigo. "I'm Korean," responded
Kim. |

"I'm Mink," actor Jessica Calvello might have said, but didn't." A few
weeks before the convention, she and the rest of an ADV Films cast had
finished dubbing Dragon Half, which was shown for the first time at Katsucon. |

Not in the dub was actor Tristan MacAvery, who used this plastic expanding
to demonstrate what anime does to the brain. |

Rikki Simons took a picture of the crowd while wife Tavisha rambled on
about her joy at attending Katsucon. Rikki replied "And I'm so hungry,"
then the audience laughed.

ceremonies to talk about the massive sales of Pokemon material that company
has been enjoying in recent months. |
