Nan Desu Kan - Oct. 15 - Steve Bennett's Hat

If you thought the AnimeIowa feature on the surprise birthday party for Toshifumi Yoshida of Viz was strange, you'll be baffled by what happened to Steve Bennett of Studio Ironcat at Nan Desu Kan. Bennett, a Civil War buff, is known for wearing a Confederate at to conventions. The hat disappeared on Saturday, only to reappear in the hands of artist Scott Frazier.	Frazier said he would return the hat to whomever could prove he was Bennett, but there were several people claiming to be the artist. Well, they weren't all people, including this four-legged fan wearing a miniature "I slept with Steve Bennett" shirt...
...and the likely suspects were brought on stage for a series of inquisitions from Frazier.	All of the suspects were queried, and no solution was found at first, so Frazier asked for help from the audience...
...figuring that Ironcat artist Hiroshi Aro could find the real Bennett. Of course, he "couldn't," and Frazier kept trying...	...only to "discover" the real owner of the hat in a dramatic moment on stage.
