C-Kon wasn't the only group at the eastside Indianapolis hotel. A Michigan
high school band spent the weekend at the Marriott, and they practiced
for a contest in the parking lot in cold, wet weather. |
It was much warmer inside the hotel, where chairman Casey Glanders told
fans at the second opening ceremony that actor Wendee Lee was scheduled
for a Saturday appearance. |
Remember those sound shooters we mentioned? There were some horseplay with
those gadgets in the atrium. Yes, they do look like trash cans. |
Keeping busy in rhe artists' alley was Robert DeJesus, making his popular
hand-drawn ID badges. |
