The Inner Harbor of Baltimore on a day with high clouds and lots of
seagulls. Off in the distance, obscured by buildings, is the convention
center where Otakon is held. |
Katsucon moved in 2002 to a hotel on the opposite side of the harbor.
Lots of familiar faces found the new location, including "Linus Lam" and
his camera. |
Anna-Neko of the Code Name: Cos-Men site was on hand with a bunch of
costumes. |
Fred Perry, fresh from the release of his self-produced and self-animated
Gold Digger DVD (on sale from Antarctic Press) was in the artists' alley. |
A lot of people were curious to find what sort of presentation would
come from NuTech, known for its adult titles. Somehow, superfan Steve Pearl
slipped into the scene with the NuTech actors. |
Studio Ironcat is a known quantity, but this box probably doesn't mean
they have secret projects scheduled for four years after Katsucon. |
And here's the secret to how Ironcat really works: they have a horde
of cute girls to handle the hard jobs. |
Hoping to attract some of those cute girls was Rob Baranek, who planned
another unique convention party. |
