Angora Deb teaches people not to think. The
improv actor turned anime dub voice traveled to Nekocon to tell fans
how to work with others to make a performance. Eye contact is
important, along with helping others get through a show. But the key is
to develop new instincts, so that you don't have to think about what
you're going to do; instead, you react. To develop those new instincts,
Deb took fans through exercises that seemed to be only ways to make
silly noises and act foolish. Rather, the exercises had a goal of
showing fans how professional improv actors learn how to anticipate and
react when they're on stage, and make things up as they go along.
