Actor and director Michael Sinterniklaas said he had a sore thumb, but his voice and humor were in great shape.

Then came the attack of the ADV Films voice actors, where the convention took the risk of placing on the stage Chris Patton, Monica Rial, Vic Mignogna and Greg Ayres.

Then, the covention staff announced that the Japanese guests of honor were still traveling around the Baltimore and District of Columbia area and wouldn't appear at the ceremonies. Of course, they walked on stage a few minutes after that announcement, led by Takeshi Honda, the Evangelion animation director.

Next up was Hidenori Matsubara, character designer for the Oh My goddessand Sakura Taisen anime, who said he was glad to be back in the region after his Anime USA appearance in 2002.

Following was Inaba Tetsu, manga artist who was impressed with the number of Katsucon cosplayers, and joked that he should dress as Totoro.

And Corey, who took the risk of wearing a Detroit Lions sweater in Washington Redskins territory, whipped up the crowd for his weekend game shows.
