Before scouting the Crystal City area for suitable watering holes, dub
producer Toshifumi Yoshida introduced the Arlington, Va. audience to
his son Roland as his wife Trish Ledoux looked on.
Texas artist Lea Hernadez, who brought fresh copies of a "how to draw
manga" book, talked about his many years had passed since she
previously had appeared at Katsucon.
Finally, two guests of honor from Japan, starting with manga educator
and critic Tetsu Inaba, making a return trip to the convention.
And soft-spoken character designer Range Murata, known for his
illustrations and his characters for series such as Last Exile,
finished the parade of guests (interpreter Taka helped on the right).
