Jeff and Philip Moy
Between the artistic Moys, who has
the better job? There's a good argument that it's Jeff, because he's
had so many of them...many of which have included Star Trek and Wildstorm books, and an amazing collection of full-figured females. But Philip has the hottest job for the moment, drawing the Power Puff Girlscomic for DC. Think those cute little cartoon characters are easy to
draw? Try penciling and inking an entire comic, knowing that you've got
editors and the animation's creators scrutinizing every line, making
sure you make everything according to the book (and there is a "bible"
of exacting model sheets for the characters that must be followed, or
else). It's worth the effort, however, when you get to work on projects
like the hyper-cute Power Puff Girls Save the Day, the music-playing book that's been so popular that used copies sell for higher prices than new ones.
