Pamela Lauer's life changed forever when ADV Films gave her the role of
Kei when the producers started dubbing the first set of episodes from the
original, 1980's Dirty Pair TV series. That brought her into contact
with Jessica Calvello, who got the role of Yuri. The two formed one of
the most dangerous voice acting duos of the decade, and there's proof on
tape. Fortunately, producer and director David Williams saved the best
(worst?) of the pair's antics and has shown it to a select few across North
America. After her stint in ADV Films productions, Lauer headed to the
Pacific Northwest, but she still keeps in touch with her acting friends,
and there's always a chance of more work with Calvello one day. |
