a vsitor to this site: "I would like to suggest Mariah Watkins as the
Anime Concention Personality of the Week sometime soon. With her bubbly
personality, wonderful cosplay, her ability to interact with all kinds
of fans and just general demeanor...I feel she's really given something
back to the fan community. Not only as a voice actor for our
videogames, but as a fan as well." What this note didn't mention was
the time that Watkins was helping to create the soundtrack for a video
game, recording the "battle cuts" of fighting noises, and got too
enthusiastic. There was a "thud" as the heel on her shoe broke and she
fell, hitting her head and breaking a seat. Watkins managed to get
through that incident unhurt and started recording again when she got
back up, following the director's suggestion that it might be good if
she didn't do that again.
