But he has to settle for dressing like Son Goku at anime conventions. The Son Goku robe from Dragon Ball is easy to make, but the hair - among the most outrageous examples of "anime hair" - is one of the greatest challenges in costuming. Long, strenuous hours of experimentation have led Derek to a secret technique of turning ordinary foam into Son Goku's hair in all four stages. So effective is the foam hair that even experienced costumers are heard to ask "How does he do it?" |
