In Robotech, one of the bridge officers was named Vanessa, and the English-language voice for that character was Wendee Lee. Fans who were in diapers when Robotech was new enjoyed another spacefaring adventure, Cowboy Bebop. The lead female character in that series was Faye Valentine, and the English-language voice for that character was...Wendee Lee. And Lee was in Iczer-One and Magic Knight Rayearth and Battle Athletes and Crying Freeman. And she even directed the dubs of Digimon and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. But, with all of that - including her singing and dancing - there was the one that got away: Super Pig. Hardcore fans know it as Tonde Buurin. Lee said the entire series was dubbed...but it never was released. |
