Would
producer David Williams of ADV Films would make a perfect personality
of the week? Is the "Matt and David Show," the ADV panel staged by
Williams and Matt Greenfield at conventions, worthy of of this honor by
itself? Is it enough that Williams goes above and beyond the call of
duty to interact with fans, even tossing Najica panties at fans from
certain ADV dealers' room booths? Does it make a difference that
Williams explains just how DVD's work and fail? Does his insistence on
posting messages on Internet forums make him a likely candidate? No!
Williams would be nothing it it wasn't for his "What Would You Do For A
DVD?" badge. Only by wearing this badge to conventions can Williams be
justified as a personality of the week. (His irregularly-posted
Live Journal confessions don't quite justify the award.)
