a visitor to this site: "I would like to nominate Jezeroth, one of the
most amazing cosplayers and skit creators this community has, for
personality of the week. I would have said something earlier (as I am
sure many others would have, too), but, I thought for sure he was
already on the page. When I saw that he wasn’t, I realized it must have
been because many times you cant tell it's even him because his
cosplays are so elaborate. For example, a favorite costume of mine
called Black Widow was the main picture for cosplay.com’s Anime Expo
picture gallery last year and probably the best EGL cosplays I have
ever seen. For the longest time, I didn't even know it was him because
the costume was so brilliant in its design and androgyny. It takes
someone with immense skill to pull off a look like that. Another
example happened later that year at Nekocon 2003. His costume of Yubaba
from “Spirited Away” in the cosplay was a superb work which was
accompanied by a skit that matched its quality. It ended up winning him
best presentation at the Master Level. I don't even know which award
number that is. I think Jez has more awards for his skits and cosplays
under his belt then you can count on your fingers and toes. Besides his
accomplishments here, Jez is a model person at conventions. You can
always catch him walking and telling people how much he admires their
work, befriending people, or giving encouragement to his friends in the
green room. Jez is definitely one of the best marks of everything a
cosplayer should be. For these reasons I think he should definitely be
the personality of the week."
